A piece of history from the Margiela House - the first ever Blazer made for Men by Martin Margiela during his iconic tenure for his self eponymous label.
Though the House presented their first runway collection for Women in Spring / Summer of 1989 - it was only in 1998 when Martin finally officially extended the code of the house with Line 10 ' The Collection for Men.' Here is a timeline below;

1989–1998 – For about ten years, Maison Martin Margiela focused almost entirely on women’s collections, along with his artisanal line (reconstructed garments, often unisex but shown in women’s presentations).
1998 – The first dedicated menswear line (“Line 10”) was introduced, about a decade into the brand’s life. "
